Together Forever
Although you can't be with me
We're truly not apart
Until the final breath I take
You'll be living in my heart
Even after my last words
And my final thought too
Look to Heaven
From there, I'll be watching you
I'll guard you as you sleep
And all through the day
Wishing for you, peaceful dreams
And happy, joy-filled days
If you ever need a hug
Or a little love
Just go grab that teddy bear
And send a prayer above
God is always listening
To every care you have
And, I too, promise to be with you
In the good times and bad
Until the last breath you take
I'll be living in your heart
And when you come to Heaven
We'll be together again, that day

I am dedicating this post to Trevor's "Koala Bear" on behalf of our friend and loved one now in Heaven, Kate.
There was a day recently when Kate's sister Anna was in a battle for her life, she has cancer and she had been having a particularly bad struggle with high fevers etc over a period of days and it was not looking good.
When Anna's twin, Emily, found this poem that Kate had written and it resounded loudly with many people. Kate and God sending a message that it is not Anna's time yet. The message speaks for itself. Shortly after that Anna starting getting better. Once again today Anna was in a struggle and her family seeking comfort went to prayer. Again this poem and a song we deemed Anna's song came to mind. The photo here is for Anna, affectionately known now as koala and all I can say is God truly led me to this when I was searching for a photo to post for Anna.
Isaiah 54:17 No weapon formed against you (Anna) shall prosper...
Thank you Jesus for your precious gift we call Koala, for the promise of complete healing and for reminding us that you are indeed taking care of her.
Amen

a small section of Rhett Wallker's song that her family says is "Anna's Song"
"This ole heart is screaming out "Go on hit the road (cancer) cause you can't break me"
