Fake, man-made and binding
Lost in idols and buildings
Never about really living
Lost in a whirl
Of the human perspective
Trapped in a world
Of bondage and filth
Always taking, never giving
The “churches” get bigger
Taller, filled with grandeur
While lonely in the streets
The poor and destitute wander
Is this how you want to be?

Jesus Christ

Real, God in flesh, freeing
Found in life
and the Bible
Always about thriving
Found in Everything
The real reason for living
Giver of freedom and love
Son of the true God above
The savior of humanity
The “churches” still get bigger
Taller, and filled with grandeur
He is lonely and destitute
Longing to break through
To the religious believers

Which one are you?
Religious, or a follower of Jesus Christ?
Do you care about the building and steeple
Or the lonely and destitute people?
Do you want to thrive and live?
Or exist in sin?
Free and found?
Or lost and bound?
You have a voice

So what will it be?
Bound or free?
Stand up for what you believe
And make the Ultimate Choice!
